Nancy Lyons is an Emmy-winning speaker, author, and future-of-work strategist who’s spent over two decades shaking up the status quo of work, leadership, life, and culture. Nancy has been active on social platforms since the beginning, built a loyal audience on Instagram and LinkedIn, and publishes a widely read newsletter, The Nan-Cave. She knows how to build community. She knows how to create content that resonates. But TikTok posed a different challenge: a discovery platform with an AI-driven algorithm where watch time matters more than follower count, where audiences search for quick, actionable insights, and where 60-second videos need a hook in the first three seconds, or they don't get distribution.
Nancy's team recognized that reaching the next generation of clients required a presence on platforms that surface content based on interest, not follower count—the new search engines where young professionals discover ideas. They needed strategic support to align her content with these algorithm-driven platforms.
Hiper built the framework for her launch on TikTok and cross-channel distribution. We created a content mix built around three themes: work culture for individual contributors, leadership insight, and technology innovation. We optimized for TikTok's algorithm using Creator Search Insights, tested platform-specific hooks, and cross-posted to YouTube Shorts and Instagram Reels to maximize reach and identify what resonated across platforms. The framework worked. 1.34M TikTok views and 103K cross-platform views in six months—establishing Nancy's visibility and authority on platforms where the next generation consumes media.
